ABOUT ME
“When I die, I would like to be buried with Post-It notes and Sharpies.”
MY STORY
In early 2019 I had over a decade of work and experience in the mental health field. I was depleted and ready for a new challenge. As a creative problem-solver I have been interested in graphic design and user experience, I was always envious of my friends who were working in the field. So, in late 2019 I decided to take a leap and plunge into the world of design.
Since then, my design career has progressed rapidly. In 2021, I graduated from Seattle Central Creative Academy (SCCA), a competitive and rigorous design school, where I discovered my passion for UX, especially research. After graduating, I earned a certification in User Experience with a specialty in UX Research from NN/g. I then worked as a UX consultant for the Indonesian creative agency Percolate Galactic and contributed as a conversational designer at SameSame Collective, developing a beta WhatsApp chatbot using Turn and Textit.
In November 2021, I joined Forum One as a UX Associate, quickly advancing to Lead User Experience Designer. My role involved creating digital solutions for non-profits, NGOs, and government organizations, with clients including the NHS, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Pacific Science Center, and NRDC.
In February 2023, I accepted a position at Inizio Evoke as a User Experience Designer in the Behavioral Design Department, where I had the unique opportunity to work in the healthcare space, making meaningful changes in patients' lives. In May 2024, I was promoted to Senior User Experience Designer. My work at Inizio Evoke focuses on using principles of behavioral design and behavioral economics to create digital experiences that help patients and healthcare providers access vital information, increase medication adherence, and improve health literacy and access.
Beyond my daily work at Inizio Evoke, I have combined my mental health and UX expertise, specializing in trauma-informed design and accessibility. In October 2022, I became a certified Trauma Support Specialist and am currently developing a formal training program for design conferences and workshops.
